Hispanic Outlook on Education magazine ranked San Antonio College (SAC), Northwest Vista College (NVC) and Palo Alto College (PAC) in multiple categories on the list of top 25 community colleges for Hispanics.
The list recognizes community colleges across the country that serve the largest number of Hispanic/Latino students.
NVC, SAC, and PAC are all Hispanic-serving institutions and each has a current Hispanic enrollment rate of over 64% or higher.
The Alamo College District is recognized as follows:
- SAC ranks #14, NVC #15, and PAC #25 on the list of the nation’s top 25 community colleges for Hispanic/Latino students (using fall 2020 data)
- NVC ranks #3, SAC #5, and PAC #6 in associate degrees granted to Hispanic/Latino students in the South Region (using 2019-2020 data)
- NVC ranks #11 and SAC #13 in associate degrees granted to Hispanic/Latino students (using 2019-2020 data)
