Rajasthan cops: Children of Rajasthan cops to get reservation in private colleges and universities

There is good news for the children of police officers in Rajasthan.

According to a statement issued by the Directorate of College Education, children of cops will be given admission quotas at private colleges and universities in the state.

The quota will be given from the three percent reserve for children of defense personnel and ex-servicemen.

The policy will be applicable to the children and wives of all Rajasthan police personnel, including ex-servicemen.

Prior to the recent change, the reservation policy only applied to children of the Central Reserve Force, military and former Education Department employees.

The Department of Education has released another statement letting everyone know that this admissions quota change will be in effect starting with the 2022-23 academic year.
